1st Emerson Rainbows - Cheque Presentation
Date: Monday July 7, 2008

1st Emerson Rainbows are a delightful group of 5-7 year olds who meet at the Valley Centre in Emerson Valley. The girls and their leader Karen decided they wanted to learn more about Hearing Dogs and do some fundraising.
They had a talk and slide show, which included a visit from Janet and her Hearing Dog Gypsy and Alison with stud dog Sooty, who is part of the Hearing Dog breeding programme.

The girls decided to do a sponsored skip and raised £100. One of the parents kindly donated another £18 so they raised £118 for the charity. There was a cheque presentation on July 7th and the Rainbows received two Thank You certificates. One from the charity’s head office, The Grange and the other from the local Milton Keynes and District Branch featuring their 5 Hearing Dogs.
