Hertfordshire Branch Dog Show

We had had a very wet summer and we still had an abundance of dog-beds to sell, so I tentatively asked Liz Arendt, chairperson of the Herts branch whether we could have a pitch at their annual dog show in Bricket Wood on Sunday 14th September. She said yes, and we were made to feel very welcome at the event, with some of the Herts branch members helping us put up our gazebo and man our stall. It turned out to be a sunny and warm day, so we all did very well, with the Herts branch raising almost a total of £2,000 from their dog show, and the MK branch making a total of £247 from the sale of dog beds and from the soft toy game. A lady from the Herts branch very kindly gave us two boxes full of beautiful Liberty fabrics for our Craft Group. Our thanks go to Liz and her branch members for their warm welcome.
