Stockgrove Country Park Walk

Date: Sunday August 31, 2008

The MK and District Fundraising Branch had their first group walk at Stockgrove Country Park on Sunday 31st August. A good number of members turned out with a total of 8 dogs, who despite the awful weather had a great time. At least the rain stopped in time for a welcome cup of tea at the end.

Our secretary Janet Durbridge writes:

It was a most enjoyable walk even though it was wet and muggy. It was good to see Ann Ramsden and her daughter, who had travelled from Banbury. All the dogs had a whale of a time and I’m sure they all had a bath this afternoon! Our thanks go to Brenda and Ian for leading us.

It is hoped that we will arrange our next walk at Salcey Forest at the end of October, so for those of you who couldn’t join us today, we hope you’ll be able to join us next time.
