AGM 9th May 2009

Our Second Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday, 9th May 2009 at the United Reformed Church in Newport Pagnell, and twenty-two people attended. We were grateful to have two sign language interpreters assist us at the meeting. However, we will need to cater for Hard of Hearing members at future meetings, and suggestions are welcome.
Doreen Monk stood down as Chairperson, and Helen Peters was elected. It was also unanimously agreed that Doreen be our first President, a post which she accepted.
Janet Durbidge and Jane Minard were re-elected as Branch Secretary and Branch Treasurer respectively. Joan Harrington stood down as Minutes Secretary, and Alison Renwick was elected.
Doreen Monk and Joan Harrington were presented with planters. We welcome Helen Peters as our new chairperson, and we look forward to working with her.
