Once again the Cranfield Marathon Team supported Hearing Dogs for Deaf People by running in the London Marathon 2009, wearing a 40ft sausage dog costume. They boosted their funds by holding street collections in Milton Keynes, so members of the Milton Keynes Branch went along with their hearing dogs to support them at Kingston Tesco. It was nice to meet Chris Tredwin, the organiser, wearing his medal from the marathon. We were also pleased to see our old furry friend, the dogapillar, looking worn out! Shoppers were very generous with their donations and a whooping £1,002.05 was raised, which no doubt boosted the Cranfield teams fund-raising efforts.
