New Year’s Meal 2009

To celebrate both New Year and a very successful fundraising year our branch held its annual meal in January.
Our chairperson Doreen Monk writes:-
Twenty four of us celebrated the New Year with a meal at The Bridge Inn in Fenny Stratford on 24th January, a nice meal and lots of chat and gossip. Andrew Reid, Head of Regional Fundraising from The Grange presented us with a framed certificate to commemorate the fact that we had raised £10,884.18 during the year 2008. A lovely picture of Hearing Dog Maggie, it is on my wall and it will be handed over when I step down at our AGM in May. We look forward to another busy and interesting year, the work we do certainly adds spice to life.
