Speakers

Would your group, club, school or business like to learn more about the work we do, the dogs we train and the people we help?
You can request a visit from one of our amazing volunteer speakers.

Our branch has 6 volunteer speakers, who will visit groups of any size within the Milton Keynes and District area to tell you more about Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. We help can arrange speakers across the UK as we have access to over 300 volunteers nationally.

Our fun, informative chats can be flexible to fit you. Normally, the talks last for around 45 minutes, which includes a slide presentation and time for questions and answers. Please note that although we try and bring a working dog to our talks, we cannot guarantee that this will always be possible.

Although we don’t charge for our talks, it would be amazing if the speaker’s travel expenses are covered. If you are able to make a donation, £40 is our suggested amount. We are incredibly grateful for all of the generous donations we have received from talks. We appreciate that not every group will be able to give a donation; this is why we don’t charge a set fee.

Children and Youth Groups and Schools There is no suggested fee for children’s or youth groups and schools. We do have resources and fundraising ideas should you choose to do so.
